The San Francisco International Aiport – Terminal 2 Build Back and Retrofit project consisted of demolishing the original air traffic control tower and upper four stories of Terminal 2, and building back two new stories above the existing structure.
Patrick was on the Project Management Support Services (PMSS) team while previously employed at Rutherford + Chekene, and was responsible for the structural peer review and constructability review. He provided invaluable help during the design phase of this complex project by providing possible solutions to the design team as they tried to navigate interfacing the new and existing elements.
