The focus of the new 750,000 sf Terminal 1 - Boarding Area B project at San Francisco International Airport was the passenger experience and sustainability.  The project provides 24 gates, a new baggage handling system, two lounge spaces, several restaurants and retail spaces, and art throughout.  The project was constructed in phases to allow for continued operation of the airport, with the first and largest phase complete and open to the public in 2019.
